This is probably the final entry here.
This blog has recorded a short period in time. It has tried to describe as honestly as I can the experience of being a parent of a child with cancer. For better or worse, it defines my life. And I'm sure that I don't always come across as a particularly pleasant or consistent person and probably not even a very good father/husband. But there you go.
It wasn't written for anyone. A vomit in a void. If it was read by people who've never met me. Fine. It was never about saying anything to those who know me. As more people who know me know of it, the more what it says becomes more difficult to write without becoming compromised. So, it's time to stop writing here.

Sad to see you go, but can relate a litte. I have definitely write a lot less personally as time has gone on at our blog.

i only read for a short time, but was really touched by your honesty and courage. much love to you and your family. i really will hold you in my thoughts.
Thank you for honestly and elegantly sharing your life-changing experience with your dear son. It has been enlightening and helpful for me as I learn more through you as to how it is for my nephew and his family during their cancer journey.
I will miss reading about little C-tels ups and downs and I will always wonder about him, and you as you continue your life outside of this blog. Our thoughts and prayers will continue for you all. God Bless.

I came across your blog after you left a message on mine just recently. In the message you left, you wondered aloud why God let your son contract cancer.
I wondered if I could post you a book by a good friend of mine who recently lost his son to cancer.
My friend is one of Australia's most renowned Christian ministers. Everyone, including him, wondered how God could allow it to happen.
The book is a very honest account of how they dealt with their son's illness and loss and how they have reconciled that with the love of God.
The book is called "Where's the Miracle?". I am sure it would be a great encouragement to you.
